About us

Computers for people who need them.

Kompjuteri nade is a nonprofit association that collects, repairs and donates electronic equipment. Our work connects care for the environment with support for education and everyday community life.

Computers for learning and work

More useful life.
More opportunity.

One computer can mean so much.

We believe in the value of reuse. A computer that no longer suits one user can, after inspection and repair, be useful to someone else.

We work with schools, community organisations, institutions, companies and individuals. Each donation starts with a conversation about what is available, what is needed and how the equipment could help.

The people behind the work

It starts with
a conversation.

Have a computer to give, equipment you need, or an idea to share? Our team in Ilidža connects people who can help with people who need support.

01

Listen to the need. Every school, association and person has a different situation.

02

Look for a new purpose. We inspect and repair donated equipment so it can be useful again.

03

Work together. Donors, volunteers and community partners all have a part to play.

Room to imagine.
Reasons to care.

I ovog proljeća recikliramo.

Through competitions and shared activities, we encourage young people to explore, create and think about responsible use of technology and care for the environment.

Our spring recycling competition brought together pupils who used art, writing and practical projects to explore electronic waste and caring for nature.

Kompjuteri nade was born from the idea behind the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) in Canada: that electronics deserve a second life, and people deserve access to technology.

With ERA’s support, our team brings that idea to communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, collecting equipment, preparing it for reuse and connecting it with people who need it.
